I am a dedicated professional with a strong background in Information Technology (IT) and a demonstrated ability to take on leadership roles. I graduated in December 2023 from the University of Illinois Springfield, with a focus on Information System Security and Computer Science. From my initial Computer Science class, my passion for Information Technology has steadily grown.
In my current position as a Computer Support Technician with the State of Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology since 2023, I manage critical tasks, including the imaging of state laptops, desktops, and tablets. This involves configuring and deploying devices efficiently to meet user needs. Additionally, I oversee the crucial task of data sanitization, ensuring the thorough wiping of sensitive information to uphold data security and privacy standards.
Prior to my role in the state government, I served as an Operation Coordinator at FedEx Ground from 2021 to 2023. In this position, I supervised drivers, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company standards. Through detailed policy reviews and data analysis, I engaged with Contractors to address performance, identify areas for improvement, and foster a culture of compliance and safety. I led weekly safety meetings, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safety-conscious environment.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a proactive approach to challenges, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a strong capacity for leadership. I am driven to contribute to organizational success and am always seeking opportunities for self-improvement and growth in the dynamic field of Information Technology. My goal is to contribute to the field of Information System Security, ensuring individuals have a strong foundation in information security and providing the necessary tools to safeguard personal and organizational information.
